A beautifully old, SMALL WHITE WASHED LAMP, this Chinese rice wine pot, made as table lamp.

These pots have been used in rice wine breweries to let yellow rice wine ferment outside during winter before selling it.

The practice of using this kind of pots for making rice wine goes back over 2000 years, and they are still used today for traditionally made rice wine in Shaoxing, China. Some pots still carry the stamp of their rice wine maker.

Every pot differs in colour & finishing. All pots can be made into a lamp on request. We also have a large selection of complementing handmade lampshades in stock, in various shapes, sizes and colours
